Open meetings are available to anyone interested in Alcoholics Anonymous’ program of recovery from alcoholism. Nonalcoholics may attend open meetings as observers.
This will be the first Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual (2SLGBTQIA+), and additional sexual and gender-diverse
identities AA meeting in District 45. An AA meeting designed for 2SLGBTQIA+ to create a welcoming, queer-friendly environment. Our title is “Extravagant Promises,” which focuses on the first Tradition- “Our common welfare should come first; personal recovery
depends upon A.A. unity,” and on the third principle, Hope: Believing that recovery and positive change are truly possible.
