Remote Communities

Meetings for Isolated Members

Remote Communities Committee

If you are unable to make it to regular face-to-face meetings on a consistent basis, our Remote Communities Committee may be able to help you connect with A.A. Members may be faced with travel or geographic challenges or may face barriers such as language, cultural considerations and/or anything else that could separate someone who needs AA from our lifesaving program of recovery. To contact the committee please see the Remote Communities Committee page in the Area 79 section of this web site.

Teleconference Meetings

The purpose of teleconference meetings is to carry the AA message by phone to our members who are ill, disabled or living in areas where AA meetings are limited or non-existent due to their remote locations. Teleconference Meetings chaired by individual districts in Area 79 may be listed below. Districts wishing to list a teleconference meeting here, should contact Remote Communities Chair at remotecommunities@bcyukonaa.org
